In both cases, the raloxifene dosage remains the same: 30–60 mg per day. However, the recommended dose is usually 30 mg per day. Raloxifene can be taken before, during, or after meals. It can also be taken in the morning or evening, according to individual preference. Its half-life is approximately 27 hours.
