LIVAMED 1 (Pitavastatin Calcium) belongs to the group of statin drugs and is used to correct levels of fatty substances (lipids) in the blood.
Pitavastatin is indicated to lower elevated total cholesterol (TC) and LDL cholesterol (LDL-C) levels in adults with primary hypercholesterolemia, including heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia and mixed (combined) dyslipidemia.

Description
You can take it at any time of day. However, try to take the tablet at the same time every day; it is recommended to take it in the evening.
The usual starting dose is 1 mg once a day. After a few weeks, you can decide to increase the dosage. However, the maximum dose for adults is 4 mg per day.
If you have liver problems, you should not take more than 2 mg per day.
