HCG is an ancillary product primarily used to maintain, increase, or even restore the body's endogenous testosterone production. To prevent permanent testosterone suppression, a low dose of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is used during the steroid cycle. The dosage is 250 IU, two or three times per week. Its use will thus promote easier recovery at the end of the cycle.
For use at the end of an anabolic steroid cycle, there are two protocols for using HCG in PCT (Post Cycle Therapy). The first method involves administering 1500 to 4000 IU every 3-4 days for 2-3 weeks. Once this period is complete, SERM therapy can begin. A second, and perhaps more effective, option is to administer HCG daily at a dose of 500-1000 IU per day for 10 days. Once this phase is complete, PCT with SERMs can begin.
