Masteron is a drostanolone ester, drostanolone propionate. It is an injectable steroid derived from dihydrotestosterone (DHT). It is therefore a highly androgenic product.

Because Masteron is a dihydrotestosterone derivative, it provides the user with a high level of male hormones. This results in a virilizing effect, including dense and long-lasting musculature with little water and sodium retention, but without significant muscle mass gain. This is why this product is used during cutting cycles, often in a stack (mix) with other "drying" steroids to accentuate this effect.
