Arimidex oral tablets contain 1 mg of anastrozole (a non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor). It is an anti-cancer drug used for the initial treatment of breast cancer in postmenopausal women. Most breast cancers depend on the hormone estrogen for their growth. After menopause, estrogen production in the ovaries ceases, but it continues in the body's fatty tissues. This usually occurs when the aromatase enzyme converts other enzymes into estrogen. This type of breast cancer is often called estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer.
Anastrozole is an aromatase inhibitor. It works by blocking an aromatase enzyme responsible for estrogen production in the body. Ultimately, this will lead to a reduction in tumor size or a slowing of tumor growth in some women.
Weightlifters are also targeted by the use of Arimidex for bodybuilding to reduce the effects of anabolic androgenic steroids which often interact with estrogen, leading to gynecomastia, otherwise known as breast enlargement in men.
This medication is generally used after surgery and other treatments to help reduce the risk of early breast cancer recurring. It is also used to control breast cancer that has spread to other parts of the body, also known as secondary breast cancer.
Arimidex is taken as one tablet once a day at the same time each day, morning and evening. However, there are certain conditions that must be observed during the treatment period:
• If you forget to take the tablet, take it as soon as you remember unless you are due to take the second dose. Remember that you should never take a double dose.
• Keep the tablets in a safe place, out of the reach of children.
• Store the tablets at room temperature, away from direct light and heat.
• Weakness, hot flashes
• Joint pain or stiffness
• Headache, sore throat, backache and bone pain
• Mood swings, depression and sleep disturbances, also known as insomnia
• Mild skin rash
• Nausea, vomiting

The quality is excellent. I take 250 mg of the test per week. I had a blood test about three months ago and my estrogen level was normal. I take 1 mg of Arimidex twice a week. This Arimidex is amazing!
