Description

Iso-Accutane is a powerful retinoid. The latter refers to a derivative of vitamin A. Its active substance is isotretinoin, known as retinoic acid, and comes in the form of a yellowish powder. This substance is able to neutralize rapidly dividing cancer cells. This property was originally used for the treatment of cancerous pathologies.
After some time, scientists discovered another therapeutic property of this powdery substance: it is able to reduce sebum production by inhibiting excessive cell growth of the epithelium of the excretory ducts. This property of Iso-Accutane now allows it to be used to treat severe acne. Formulations based on this active ingredient can be used both externally and orally. The optimal dosage is determined by the dermatologist after examining the patient.
